The Ascension Path

Rebecca Videnoff

This reflection from Rebecca explores the ascension path as a process of remembering rather than becoming. She invites us to release the beliefs, expectations, and old programming that keep us from recognizing who we already are.

Rebecca reflects on the sacredness of ordinary life and the idea that spirituality is not separate from the everyday. She describes consciousness as perspective, and suggests that growth comes through widening that perspective and releasing what obscures our authentic nature.

She also speaks to the messiness of being human: recurring emotions, old cycles, and the temptation to measure ourselves against others—even within spiritual communities. Rather than resisting those experiences, Rebecca encourages acceptance, inward listening, grounding, and gentle recalibration.

Video transcript

Hey guys, it’s Rebecca. For those of you who don’t know me, I am a channel, a psychic, medium, a seer — I don’t know, all of those things. I hate the labels. I’m a spiritual teacher. My job is to help you along your spiritual path.

Even saying that is slightly irritating to me, because when I say I’m a spiritual teacher, it’s as if spirituality is somehow separate from everything else we do. I don’t know if you’ve thought about it before, but I’ve thought about it a lot. Everything we do is spirit. Everything. When we pay our taxes, when we grocery shop, when we make love — everything is spiritual, divine, and sacred.

This is exactly what I want to talk about today: dissolving the limiting beliefs we have around our understanding of reality. Consciousness is simply perspective. When we are on the ascension path — which, if you’re watching this video, you obviously are — the limiting beliefs that we hold are what prevent us from embodying who we really are.

Our focus is not meant to be on what we can become. The guides say that is not the right way to look at it. The question is: what can I release so that I can get to who I am? I’m already that thing. I just can’t access it because I have shadow, density, and Earth programming that I need to release.

We don’t need to do anything. We should do what we feel called to do. Be mindful in the spiritual community of old programming dressed up in spiritual clothes. If you believe you need to hear or see your guides, or channel the way that channels like me do, that can be old programming — looking outside yourself for the information that will determine who you are supposed to be.

That is not how we find ourselves. We find ourselves by turning inward, because the answer is there. We do not have to figure it out. We just have to get out of the way of the things that are in the way, so we can find who we really are.

I know this video is a bit all over the place, but I have had a lot of thoughts moving around in my head in the last week or so since we came out of the eclipse portal. Coming back to the idea that consciousness is perspective: if you are on the ascension path, you are being called to widen your perspective.

Perspective is not opinion. A higher level of consciousness is not a higher opinion. It is a higher truth that you begin to embody as you walk closer and closer to home again: to Spirit, to Source, to the All, and to the embodiment of the fact that this is you.

The energies have been so difficult lately, and I’m sure you can relate. We are being called to step out of cycles we thought we had already stepped out of. We are sad, irritable, angry, and easily triggered. It is so important not to judge ourselves in that messiness.

Being human, by design and by our own plan, is a messy experience. This is not supposed to be neat and tidy. No one around you is having a neat and tidy experience. It is not just you having the mess; it is the whole planet. It is all of humanity.

Those of us on this awakening path are redefining what it means to have a human experience. We are changing the game as we turn inward.

Remember that old programming can show up in the spiritual community and in New Age practices. If you are gauging who you are supposed to be based on who someone else is, or what something else tells you that you are supposed to be, you are still in old programming.

You are meant to be as unique, messy, and imperfect as you are. That is what makes you perfect. God does not make mistakes. When you resist who you are, when you say, ‘I’m not good enough’ or ‘I’m not far enough along,’ you are saying that you know better than the universe.

I do not think you do. If you sit back and look at it, there is room for surrender. There is room for acceptance instead of resistance. It is not the uncomfortable emotions or the uncomfortable version of ourselves that hurts. It is our resistance to that which hurts.

If you are sad, let yourself be sad. If you are angry, let yourself be angry. Then shift, transmute, alchemize, take some deep grounding breaths, and recalibrate to a higher vibration.

I know none of this is easy. I’m human too. It’s rough down here, for sure. But if you are receiving this message, then you have what it takes. I promise you.

I love you all so much. I will talk to you soon. Happy ascension. Bye for now.
